5. What happens if my tenant doesn't pay?

Property Tax: It varies from 1% to 2% of the property’s cadastral value, which is equivalent to 35/40% less than the current market value. Property taxes are used by state and city for infrastructure expenses. Property tax values vary by state.

HOA (Homeowners Association Fees): These fees are paid monthly. They include an insurance policy on the management / maintenance of the common areas and front parts of the house and roof.

Property Management: this is the company that manages the property, the payment must be made monthly. Charges cover the search for tenants of the property, receiving the rent money and creating clear reports for the property owner regarding the financial status of the property, and providing the monthly report for the owner. The rate normally charged by management companies is between 8% and 12% of the rental cost.

8. Can I access a mortgage loan in the United States living in another country and not being an American citizen or resident?
